Together at the Bavaria stand – with Bayern Innovativ

This year, we were once again represented at the Bavarian joint stand together with Bayern Innovativ. The stand once again served as a strong anchor point for discussions with companies, start-ups, associations, and international delegations. We were particularly pleased to see how strongly Bavarian companies are performing in global competition – and how great the interest of international players is in locating in Bavaria.

A special highlight was our Weißwurst breakfast, which has now become a real networking magnet. In a relaxed atmosphere, industry representatives from all over the world came together to exchange ideas, initiate initial collaborations, and, of course, experience genuine Bavarian hospitality.

Many exciting discussions with companies from Germany and abroad

We had the opportunity to talk to numerous exhibitors about relocation options and opportunities for cooperation. The exchange with international players showed how attractive Bavaria is as a location for medtech innovations – from its proximity to cutting-edge research and excellent industry landscape to strong networks and funding opportunities.

GTAI Start-up Pitch: Innovations from around the world

A particular highlight for Dr. Antje Pich was participating in the Start-up Pitch organized by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). There, young companies from around the world presented their solutions for the future of medicine. The dynamism, creativity, and internationality once again underscored how important global cooperation is for the healthcare industry.

Ecosystem maintenance: exchange with strong partners

In order to further strengthen our Bavarian ecosystem and build international bridges, the exchange with local organizations was also particularly valuable. Such discussions help us to intensify partnerships and jointly create new opportunities for companies.

The role of Invest in Bavaria

Our task at Invest in Bavaria is to support companies from all over the world in locating or expanding in Bavaria – free of charge, confidentially, and with a tailor-made approach. MEDICA has once again demonstrated how important this role is: we bring companies together with the right networks, clusters, funding agencies, and research partners and accompany them from their initial interest to a successful location decision.
