We are working to ensure that our website, www.invest-in-bavaria.com, complies with the requirements of the Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) and European Accessibility Act (Web Accessibility Directive (EU) 2016/2102).
Our website does partially fulfill the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) and is therefore partially fully accessible. The current accessibility status is as follows (08/07/2025):

Despite our efforts, some areas of our website are not yet fully accessible. These include:
- PDF Documents
Some PDF documents are not fully optimized for accessible use. They will be revised and adapted for accessibility as part of regular updates. - Images
Some images and graphics currently lack alternative text. These are continuously reviewed and supplemented during content updates. - Text Alternatives
Some non-text content such as audio, video, or image-based materials does not yet include alternative text or descriptive information. - Video Content
Some videos on our website are not yet provided with complete captions or transcripts. - Interactive Elements and Navigation
Keyboard navigation is not yet fully functional in all areas. Some interactive content, such as videos, is not yet fully operable without barriers. - Link Purpose
Several links are not clearly labeled. Descriptive titles or ARIA labels are missing in some cases, or only file names and abbreviations are used. This may hinder usage for screen reader users. - Language
On some pages, the language is not correctly defined in the lang attribute. This can cause issues with screen reader pronunciation. - Heading Structure
The heading hierarchy is not consistently implemented across all pages, which can impair navigation for users of assistive technologies. - Outdated Content
Content published before the current legal accessibility requirements came into force may not fully comply with current standards. Retrospective adjustments would involve a disproportionate effort. Newly created content is continuously designed to meet accessibility standards.
We are continuously working to remove these barriers and will improve these functions as quickly as possible.
