Groundbreaking ceremony in Eching for the Japanese company AMADA Co., Ltd.
The groundbreaking ceremony of AMADA Co., Ltd. was held in Eching on June 20, 2012. The Japanese AMADA group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of machines and machine tools for sheet metal processing with a work force of 5,800 employees worldwide.
At a cost of Euro 15 million, a Technical Center for demonstration and advisory purposes and an R&D Center is to be built on the 25,000 sqm plot of land in the Lower Bavarian town of Eching. The deciding factor for the choice of this site was its proximity to customers and the high level of regional innovation density.
