Hessel: "Convincing with facts and delighting with our way of life"
MUNICH - Invest in Bavaria, the economic promotion agency of the Free State of Bavaria, welcomes spring with a bouquet of activities. With a new Internet presence, a fresh new logo and a promotional film produced by renowned director Joseph Vilsmaier, Invest in Bavaria wants to put the business location Bavaria even more into the focus of investors within the international location competition. A travel guide that has been specifically developed for investors is to show the economic advantages of the Free State in an entertaining way. "We want to convince with facts and delight with our way of life," says Bavaria's Secretary of State for the Economy, Katja Hessel, about the spring offer of the Bavarian economic promotion agency. "It is important to us to show Bavaria's charisma and the potential of its regions."
The new Internet presence provides a compact overview of the extensive range of services offered by Invest in Bavaria. The website promises to have a huge effect thanks to the direct approach, the many possibilities to get in touch, tips for current events and links to communities of international groups in Bavaria. One of the highlights is the interactive map of Bavaria. The distribution of different sectors and clusters in Bavaria can be discovered with just one click at www.invest-in-bavaria.com. 17 sectors are available in the navigation ranging from the automotive industry and logistics to nanotechnology. The boxes selected in the map show the companies of a sector in this particular region. This allows potential investors to spot the strengths of the regions at a glance. Hessel stresses: "Due to our customer and service oriented approach, the Free State positions itself as the top choice for company relocations in the more and more fierce international location competition."
The new promotional film 'Bavaria – Your Location. Your Future' is a special gem on the website for friends of beautiful pictures. Invest in Bavaria was able to sign renowned director Joseph Vilsmaier for this project. Made of the box-office hit 'Bavaria – Traumreise durch Bayern' (trip of a lifetime through Bavaria), this short film brings the identity and diversity of Bavaria as a land of high technology, centre of economic power, and treasury of culture and landscape closer to the viewer with unique aerial images and sequences from all parts of the state. To match the new website, Invest in Bavaria adorns itself with a new logo. Designed in a simple graphical way, the motive shows a white-blue location pin which is made up of a garland with seven rhombs representing the seven administrative districts. The logo is reminiscent of the aperture of a camera lens and thus alludes to the core task of the economic promotion agency: Putting good locations into the spotlight!
