French developer of industrial remote control technology solutions opens subsidiary JAY Electronic GmbH in Bavaria
KARLSFELD JAY Electronic, the French developer of personalised radio remote control solutions for industry, has opened its subsidiary in Bavaria and begun business activities.
JAY Electronic develops products for wireless communication, in particular radio remote control, and industrial automation. Founded in 1962, the company from Rhône-Alpes is a European market leader in safety radio remote control systems for industry and many other sectors, and currently has 50 staff in France and over 50 years of experience.
JAY Electronic has been marketing its products on the German market for over 10 years, together with a German partner. From its new office in Karlsfeld, JAY Electronic GmbH intends to expand its activities on the German market and develop further, in close proximity to its customers. Arno Butzke, Head of Marketing and Sales in Germany, on the start of the subsidiary: "Over the last three years, the company has developed a new generation of products that specifically addresses the particular requirements and applications of German machine manufacturers. Proximity to target customers and markets and the exemplary infrastructure make Bavaria the perfect location for marketing these new devices."
Johann Niggl, Head of Invest in Bavaria, the Business Promotion Agency of the Free State of Bavaria, welcomes the company warmly: "Bavaria has the fourth highest industrial density in the world and offers excellent business opportunities for industry-related technology providers. Around 400 French companies are currently based in Bavaria, and around 4,200 Bavarian companies have business relationships with French partners. At EUR 17,880.3 billion, the volume of Bavarian-French trade in 2012 was slightly lower than in the previous year.
