MUNICH/ASCHAFFENBURG Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Ilse Aigner issued the invitation to attend this year’s “Abend der Außenwirtschaft” (Foreign Trade Evening) in Aschaffenburg. “Our companies are successful worldwide. Export is crucial for jobs, growth and prosperity in Bavaria. Which is why we stand for openness and fair rules of play in global trade,” says the Minister.
The “Abend der Außenwirtschaft” is held as part of the Bavarian foreign representatives’ working conference in a different administrative district every year. During the event, roughly 400 representatives from Lower Franconia’s economy can discuss the latest foreign trade and economic issues with the Bavarian foreign representatives. For Aigner, the foreign representatives make an important contribution to Bavarian companies’ good export performance: “25 representatives are in the meantime available as a professional contact for our economy worldwide. They are often the first point of call for SME in particular. Our representatives are an important intermediary in tapping into new markets.”
Aigner expresses particular thanks to Godel Rosenberg, the Bavarian representative in Israel. Rosenberg has been committed to Bavarian and Israeli relations for almost ten years and has made a valuable contribution to economic exchange between the two countries.
The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs supports SME in particular with a number of measures for developing business and internationalisation strategies and for exploring and tapping into foreign markets.
