MUNICH Today the Werk1.Bayern officially opened for business. Bavaria is a better location than Berlin, as sustainable companies are founded here, products and business models of the future are developed here and new jobs are created. We compete with Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, that is our mission.”
The new Werk1.Bayern supports founders in the Internet and media scenes by providing space and infrastructure and supporting them in connecting the media and games sectors, location marketing and all matters regarding the start-up phase. The four partners Werk1.Bayern, Mediennetzwerk, media.lab and Invest in Bavaria unite industry and media representatives and international players. Aigner adds: “The conditions in Bavaria are very good for founders to be successful. Those who found a company in Bavaria encounter the best environment: a state which helps in all practical matters and supports them in financing their company, successful and well-established companies as customers, an incomparable research environment and funding offers.”
