MUNICH Trivium eSolutions acquired akm software Beratung und Entwicklung GmbH on 1st June 2016.

Trivium eSolutions is a software development company focused on the German-speaking market and was founded in 2007, in Bangalore, India's equivalent to the Silicon Valley. Since 2014, Trivium has had an office in Munich.

akm software, based in Unterhaching, Munich, develops individual and innovative software solutions for customers with a focus on data protection and IT security. The company puts an emphasis on profound knowledge of technology and expertise from diverse areas such as payment transactions, transaction systems, IoT and Industry 4.0. akm software will be at the heart of Trivium's presence in Germany and take on the responsibility of IT consulting and software development in the strongly growing DACH region. The merger creates a company with over 100 highly qualified employees, 20 of which are located in Munich.

Wolfgang Hübschle, Head of Invest in Bavaria, congratulates Trivium eSolutions on this step: “This new alliance will surely contribute greatly to innovative digitalisation solutions – in Bavaria and beyond. I wish the company every success in expanding their activities and doing business in Germany."

“With a strong local presence in Germany and a competitive development location in India, our company is in a unique position among medium-sized IT companies in the DACH region. Our repertoire covers the complete range of stages in IT projects, from the first project phases to software development to maintenance and support,” says Nikhil Nakra, the new Managing Director of akm software. “We are confident that this restructuring of our repertoire will strengthen it and open up new possibilities for our partners and customers in Bavaria and throughout Germany.”
