MUNICH One of Russia's leading IT healthcare companies has opened its branch in Erlangen and begun business activities.
Dicom Consulting GmbH was founded by Dr. Rustam Sungatov, an expert from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. He has been active on the software and IT market in Russia and the Czech Republic for more than 20 years – as founder, shareholder and CEO. His companies, Corporate Information Routines GmbH (www.kirkazan.ru) and Dicom Consulting GmbH (www.dicoming.ru), based in Kazan, develop software solutions for the digitalisation of healthcare. The dispatch centre, for example, allows an information space for healthcare to be set up at a regional level. The innovative patient-oriented "Helterbook" platform permits medical and lifestyle information to be archived and exchanged, as well as personal monitoring, remote diagnostics and improved communication with doctors. The company also offers healthcare providers – including both large clinical centres and small doctors' practices – a central archive for medical information and all software solutions. Today, these digital solutions are successfully in use in over 30 regions of Russia, as well as in other CIS countries. The corporation is now expanding its presence in the German-speaking world by founding Dicom Consulting GmbH in Erlangen.
"Erlangen's established standard in a culture of research and innovation really make it stand out as a location, offering the ideal atmosphere for investment and tapping into new markets. The Medical Valley (EMN) in Erlangen is setting new standards for medical technology innovation all over the world," says Dr. Sergey Berdyshev, CEO of Dicom Consulting GmbH.
Dr. Wolfgang Hübschle, Head of Invest in Bavaria, the Business Promotion Agency of the Free State of Bavaria, welcomes the company warmly: "Bavaria can count itself among the world's top locations for IT healthcare, so I am delighted that the state is attracting so much attention from and impressing international investors like Dicom Consulting GmbH."
Digitalisation is the future of the healthcare sector and therefore plays a vital role in Bavaria's technology policy. Promoted by the state government, the health region of Erlangen offers a particularly outstanding environment for innovative companies.
