MUNICH - The Indian technology corporation NKB Technovations has relocated its European headquarters from Düsseldorf to Garching, near Munich. The company is hoping to tap into the entire European market from its new location.
Multiple companies from the intralogistics and extraction technology sectors are part of the NKB Technovations technology corporation. The company has been in existence in India since 1985. The German branch was founded as late as 2011, and decided on a move within Germany, to Garching, at the end of last year. Its reasons for this are closeness to customers and Bavaria's central location, as well as direct proximity to Munich's well-established international airport.
Johann Niggl, Head of Invest in Bavaria, the Business Promotion Agency of the Free State of Bavaria, is delighted about these new arrivals in Bavaria. "I would like to welcome NKB Technologie GmbH warmly to Bavaria and wish their business long-term success at their new location." Michael Solbach, authorized signatory of NKB Technologies GmbH in Garching, adds, "Choosing this location for our headquarters was a crucial step in moving closer to our customers in a wide range of industrial sectors and expanding our business contacts."
Around 50 Indian companies are currently based in Bavaria. The state is home to over 8,500 Indians, and over 1,100 Bavarian companies have business relations with India.
