Bavaria's Vice Minister for Economic Affairs travels to the USA

Pschierer: "We want to attract even more investors from the USA to Bavaria as a location"

MUNICH   Bavaria's Vice Minister for Economic Affairs Franz Josef Pschierer will travel to Atlanta and Savannah (Georgia) and Mobile (Alabama) tomorrow with a business and science delegation from the aerospace sector. Some of the business delegates will also visit Charleston (South Carolina). Pschierer: "Transatlantic economic relations are of key political and economic importance for Bavaria. The USA is both the most important export market and the most important investment location for Bavaria." Companies from the USA are already the most significant group of investors in Bavaria today.
 
The itinerary includes visits to large aerospace companies and the Bavarian-American Aerospace Symposium at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in Atlanta. The event is entitled 'Driving forward aerospace innovation – Bavaria, Germany and the Southeastern USA' and will see renowned academics from Bavaria and the USA discuss innovations in the aerospace field.
