ÖPNV 2019 –Ein Markt in Bewegung
The mobility turnaround is demanded from all sides: climate protection, air pollution control and quality of life in cities and communities should be significantly improved. On the one hand, transport must make its contribution to the achievement of climate protection goals, on the other hand, public transport is increasingly being seen as the problem solver in implementing the mobility turnaround. Incidentally, the increasingly complex legal requirements must be observed and, in particular, funding provided in compliance with state aid law and optimal taxation must be ensured. This poses immense challenges for companies and authorities as well as politicians: infrastructure and capacity expansion, investment backlog, digitization with simultaneous demands for a significant reduction in fares and thus overall rising financing requirements - to name only a few aspects. On top of that, the current regulatory changes to direct awards and environmental protection plans pose new challenges for contractors and transport companies.
PwC cordially invites you to this year's roadshow "ÖPNV 2019 - von den Konsequenzen der jüngsten Rechtsprechung bis zu den Herausforderungen der Mobilitätswende und des Klimawandels", to discuss these challenges, solutions and options for action from a legal and business perspective.
