The nano tech exhibition in Tokyo/Japan is the world's largest international nanotechnology exhibition and conference for nanotechnologies and will take place from January 30 - February 1, 2019 at the International Exhibition Center Tokyo Big Sight.

Thematic focus of nanotech 2019 are for example

• electronics and semiconductor technologies
• precision instruments and machinery
• environmental technologies/ energy efficiency
• fabrication technologies
• measurement and analytics

1st German-Japanese Nanotechnology Commercialization Workshop (30th January)

In cooperation of the Center for Research and Development Strategy, Japan Science and Technology Agency IST, the Bavarian Cluster Nanotechnology with the support of the State of the Bavarian Representative Office in Japan is organizing a bilateral workshop at the nano tech 2019 trade fair  with the aim of stimulating the initiation of cooperation in the field of nanotechnology between the two countries. The workshop focuses on the presentation of nanotechnology-based innovations by Japanese and German SMEs and start-up companies. At the same time, the status of the commercialisation of nanotechnology-based innovations as well as strategies and activities for the commercialisation of innovative marketable products and emerging technologies will be discussed.
