Mobility Post-Corona | New opportunities for our mobility system (3/4)

The Covid 19 pandemic has fundamentally changed our everyday life. The "new normality" is now determined by working from home, social distancing and face masks. This is also having an effect on mobility behaviour. Mobility service providers must meet the increased need for hygiene and safety if they want to be an alternative to the private car. Some mobility solutions have nevertheless experienced an unexpected boost around the lockdown.

This four-part online series by Bayern Innovativ analyses the effects of the pandemic on people's mobility behaviour: Are there effects that are still continuing to this day? Which parts of the mobility ecosystem are affected and in what way? What positive developments in mobility has the crisis paved the way for? And how will we live, work and move in the future?

Topic 3: Out of the crisis with smart solutions (2) – focus: PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The third event in the digital series on Monday, 16 November 2020 from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon addresses the specific challenges in the public transport sector: How can social distancing be observed on buses and trains? How can digital solutions help transport a large number of passengers with due regard for health protection so that no one is left behind in the future?
