transport logistic will open its doors in Munich from 4th to 7th June. It has now developed into Europe's most important and largest specialist trade fair for transport and logistics. Working together with the Bavarian logistics regions, Invest in Bavaria will be focusing on the business opportunities Bavaria has to offer.

Bavaria is well on the way to becoming a top-class digital business location. Digitalisation has significant and lasting effects on logistics in Bavaria. With over 400,000 people employed in the sector, logistics is a great engine for growth in Bavaria, and the state is home to the headquarters of global companies such as Dachser and DPD. This offers ideal business opportunities for knowledge-intensive logistics service providers, from fulfilment and IT security, mobile applications and cloud computing, to management and payment systems. The key is to organise the transportation of goods, plant logistics and the flow of materials in an even more efficient and customer-orientated way.

Six Bavarian logistics regions will be joining us at the trade fair: Bavarian Lower Main, Landshut district, Main-Franconia, Nuremberg, 'das plus der oberpfalz' and Regensburg. The biggest-spending consumers in Germany, a strong shipping economy and excellent transport routes make Bavaria and its logistics regions some of Europe's top logistics locations.
