The Franco-German Academy for the Industry of the Future (GFA) has set itself the task of meeting the challenges of the increasing digitization of industrial processes through joint research, education and innovation. The impetus for joint research comes from industry, and the application of the results is also important. To this end, GFA works closely with strategic partners in industry to fully address their needs.

The topics covered by the GFA are very broad, ranging from cybersecurity to the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to dealing with supply chains in times of crisis, to name just a few. So far, experts from the fields of computer science, electrical and information engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and governance, among others, are involved. However, the aim is to continuously expand the circle of scientific and industrial partners as well as the thematic framework.

To this end, the GFA has launched the "Here.We.Go - The Future Industry Forum", which will take place on the afternoon/evening of October 17, 2023. The forum will bring together GFA's key existing and new potential partners to showcase their services, exchange ideas and network.
