The motto of the 33rd Filmfest München (Munich Film Festival) in 2015 is "Crossing Borders". From 25th June to 4th July a total of 179 movies from 54 countries will be shown, all German premieres.

This year's recipients of the festival's prestigious CineMerit Award will be British actor Rupert Everett and French director Jean-Jacques Annaud.
