ZOLLHOF Tech Incubator's know-how event in february will talk about how such a global standard is being created, what opportunities the new technology brings with it and in which areas 5G can set new standards. 

For industry in particular, 5G offers great potential to strengthen the competitiveness of companies and enable comprehensive digitization. High data rates and real-time transmission allow in-depth networking of machines and systems. 

The expert:
Karin Loidl (Technology Advisor at Fraunhofer IIS) is an experienced, multidisciplinary engineer whose goal is to successfully bridge the gap between technology and application. 
Her deep insight into different industries is based on her involvement in various R&D projects ranging from cyber-physical production systems to mass evacuation planning and IOT solutions for hospitals.
