The implementation of the energy revolution has been strongly focused on renewable electricity from photovoltaic and wind and its integration into the electrical grids until now. Compared to the electricity sector, mobility and heat still show a significantly lower share of renewable energies. It is therefore high time to shift our focus to the heat sector, which contributes over 50% to our final energy demand.
The long overdue heat revolution can be tackled on the one hand by energy efficiency measures that considerably reduce consumption and on the other hand by integrated energy that transforms renewable electricity from the power sector into usable heat and refrigeration.
Resulting in new markets and fields of application for entrepreneurs and stakeholders in energy supply but also obstacles that have to be overcome.
This year’s ZAE Day on integrated energy and the heat revolution gives you the opportunity to discuss sensible measures and specific projects with experts from the Bavarian Center for Applied Energy Research (ZAE Bayern) and from industry and politics.
You can find the programme details and information about registration on the event website. The closing date for registration is 30 October 2017.
