The who's who of German aerospace visit Bavaria

At the National ESA technology days on 10th and 11th June 2013, about 130 aerospace experts met at the Bavarian Economics Ministry to discuss prospects for the collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).

The event was organised by the Bavarian Economics Ministry together with the aerospace management segment of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Aerospace cluster bavAIRia and Invest in Bavaria, and focused on the Basic Technology Research Programme (TRP) and the General Support Technology Programme (GSTP), the two ESA technology development programmes.

Following introductory presentations by DLR and ESA experts, who gave a detailed description of the two technology programmes, about 40 representatives from national and international aerospace companies presented their technological expertise. In addition, delegates from two ESA member states – the Czech Republic and Romania – also discussed aerospace activities in their countries.
