Room for ideas

After “the plus of the Upper Palatinate” most recently presented itself at the  transport logistic trade fair, the association organised a tour through Upper Palatinate on October 1st, 2015. Interested project developers travelled together on the discovery tour with municipal representatives and participants from Invest in Bavaria, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Regensburg for Upper Palatinate/Kelheim, Bayern Innovativ and the Fraunhofer Center for Applied Research on Supply Chain Services SCS .

During the round trip by bus, the mayors and business promotion agencies from the intercommunal association presented commercial open space properties and the advantages offered by their municipalities. The tour visited several companies already established in the region. Here, the participants learned about the regional location advantages from the companies' perspective first-hand. 

In the evening, the plus of the Upper Palatinate, in cooperation with Invest in Bavaria, hosted a networking event at the Wernberg Castle. Brief presentations dealt with topics related to logistics. In addition, Invest in Bavaria presented its extensive service portfolio.
