Microsoft sets trends for the future in Bavaria

Microsoft's new German headquarters will open in Munich in 2016. The building is to become an office of the future.

The world of work is becoming more flexible and more cooperative. After 20 years in Unterschleißheim, Microsoft is relocating its German headquarters to Munich. A completely new office complex is being built in Parkstadt Schwabing, ideally suited to the changed working requirements of Microsoft's staff and in line with the latest standards in energy efficiency. The company also plans to increase its visibility: An important signal that further strengthens information and communications technology in Munich and Bavaria.
