Intersana Augsburg – An outstanding example for Bavaria as a trade fair location

From 23rd to 25th October, the Intersana health fair is being held for the eleventh time in Augsburg. Over the past years, the Intersana has established itself as one of the leading trade and public fairs in its sector in the German speaking world. With its broad range of topics, the trade fair attracts interested parties from every field to Augsburg and invites them to dive into the world of health care, beauty and wellness. This year, the focal points will once again cover the entire spectrum of health-related topics ranging from pain therapy, Asian medicine to proper nutrition.

The location for Intersana has been well chosen: Besides being Bavaria's third largest trade fair location, after Munich and Nuremberg, the Messe Augsburg is one of the most important fairgrounds in the southern Germany and can look back on a long tradition. Whether hosting regional, national or international trade fairs, in-house fairs, conferences or just serving as an event location – Augsburg boasts an extensive portfolio.

But not only Augsburg enjoys particular popularity among Bavaria's trade fair locations. The NürnbergMesse is one of the world's 15 largest trade fair companies and provides a stage for some of the most important specialist fairs around the world, including the Toy Fair as well as the trade fair for information security it-sa . Every year, almost 30,000 exhibitors and up to 1.4 million visitors attend the events of the NürnbergMesse Group, which has its own subsidiaries in China, North America, Brazil, Italy and India. In addition to these three large locations, Bavaria's trade fair landscape is complemented by many others. With a total of 750 trade fairs held every year, the smaller cities also play a major role.
