2nd German-Japanese Security Forum in Tokyo

For the second time after 2017 the State of Bavaria-Japan Office, the Security Network Munich SNM and the ZD.B. Center for Digitisation.Bavaria in cooperation with JNSA (Japan Network Security Association) invited cyber security experts from Bavaria resp. Germany and Japan for an executive management forum on information and cyber security in Tokyo.

High-level speakers from politics  (Japan Cabinet Office, MIC-Ministry for Internal Affairs and Communication,  METI-Ministry for Economy, Trade and Industry, German Embassy Tokyo) , important stakeholders from research (JNSA, NICT, NISC, ISF, Keio University, TUM) and industry (ADVA, ANA, Build38, FFRI, Fujitsu, G&D, Siemens, Toshiba, TUV Süd) held vivid exchanges on national cyber strategies, IoT security, critical infrastructrues and artificial intelligence in security. The exclusive 1st Diet Members' Building of the Japanese parliament served as a perfect backdrop. 

All experts stressed the point that current and future challenges in cyber security can only be tackled and mastered by international cooperation and by bringing all members of society and stakeholders on board. Nationalistic approaches wont be leading towards success. 

The Security Network Munich - SNM in short- is a highly reputed expert network for information and cyber security.  The SNM hosts the annual MCSC - Munich Cyber Security Conference on the eve of the Munich Security conference MSC and features a dialogue forum with worldwide renowned security leaders. 

Bavaria is home to a large number of cyber sec technology drivers in industry and science and offers attrative platforms for exchange such as the leading IT security trade fair it-sa in Nuremberg, die CommandControl fair in Munich as well as the newly opened Information Security Hub ISH at the Munich airport.
