Royal visit to Bavaria

Invest in Bavaria receives a Danish business delegation

A royal visit to Bavaria? That doesn't happen every day! 20th and 21st May 2015 were the big days. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the Bavarian state capital to look at further consolidating trade relations between Bavaria and Denmark. Together with his wife and amid more than 200 onlookers, Bavaria's Minister-President Horst Seehofer welcomed the Danish Crown Prince and Princess on Max-Joseph-Platz in front of Munich's Residenz.

The couple brought with them a Danish business delegation of 75 companies from the fields of architecture and urban development, environment and energy efficiency, health, nutrition, tourism and design. A wonderful opportunity for Invest in Bavaria to talk to these companies! On 20th May, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs opened its doors and received the Danish business representatives at the “Doing Business in South Germany” conference, organised in collaboration with the Danish Consulate General. Insider information about doing business in Germany came from speakers such as Michael Kehlet, CEO of LEGO GmbH, which has a site in Bavaria, and Danish-born Anders Warming, responsible for designing the MINI series for BMW AG.
