Capital for ideas
There is more to financial services than just providing loans and negotiating building savings and loan contracts and insurance policies. At times of rapidly expanding markets of the future from the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology or new materials, new financial service products are essential for young companies with thin equity cover. At the same time, investors are providing ever-increasing sums of money for venture capital. As the leading location for financial service providers with its broad range of insurance companies, banks, venture capitalists, leasing companies and asset managers, Bavaria is well equipped to meet these challenges.
Bavaria – top in financial services
In Germany, Munich is
- the No. 1 insurance location,
- the No. 2 center for banking,
- a top address for asset management,
- the location for venture capital and leasing.
Munich is the most valuable financial center. Measured in terms of market capitalization, the Munich DAX Index already carries much more weight than that of Frankfurt.
